RLCO and HIPMI West Jakarta: From Cleaning Swiftlet Nests to Discovering Premium Products

Bojonegoro, April 2026 – Laughter filled one of the workstations at PT Abadi Lestari Indonesia Tbk (IDX: RLCO) as members of HIPMI West Jakarta took on a task that appeared simple at first glance but quickly proved otherwise—carefully removing tiny feathers from premium swiftlet bird's nests. Within minutes, the experience revealed an important lesson: every export-quality product is the result of patience, precision, and uncompromising quality standards.

The visit was led by Alvin Reynaldi Setiawan, Chairman of BPC HIPMI West Jakarta, accompanied by fellow board members and committee representatives. The occasion also carried a special connection, as one of HIPMI West Jakarta's board members currently serves on RLCO's Board of Directors.

The bird's nest cleaning activity became one of the highlights of HIPMI West Jakarta's visit to RLCO's production facilities in Bojonegoro, East Java. More than a ceremonial visit, the program served as an opportunity to connect entrepreneurial perspectives with the realities of Indonesia's manufacturing industry.

The journey began at PT Realfood Winta Asia, one of RLCO's business entities specializing in swiftlet bird's nest-based health beverages. Guests sampled a variety of the Company's flagship products, ranging from ready-to-eat bird's nest jelly to ready-to-drink beverages under the Fit with Realfood (FWR) brand. Conversations naturally flowed around product innovation, consumer preferences, and market opportunities, accompanied by curiosity about the Company's research and product development process.

The delegation then continued to RLCO's bird's nest processing facility, where premium dried swiftlet bird's nests are produced under stringent quality standards. While the first destination introduced visitors to finished consumer products, the second provided a closer look at the sophisticated processes behind one of Indonesia's leading export commodities. From sorting and cleaning to final packaging, each production stage demonstrated the combination of skilled craftsmanship, technological support, and rigorous operational standards required to deliver export-grade products.

The moment that attracted the greatest attention, however, took place at the bird's nest cleaning station. One by one, HIPMI members picked up tweezers and attempted to remove tiny feathers embedded between the delicate fibers of the nests. Some smiled after realizing the task was far more challenging than expected, while others expressed admiration for the remarkable precision demonstrated by RLCO's production team, who perform the meticulous process every day.

President Director Edwin Pranata emphasized that direct engagement such as this plays an important role in strengthening mutual understanding between entrepreneurs and industry players.
